Its easy to look as though I'm fine, that it hasn't affected me a single bit. (I guess to a certain extent, I am fine, somehow) How do you go from being someone's universe for 2 years, then strangers the next.
I never understood that.

As I was clearing out the pictures yesterday, I got emotional. I bawled, I'll admit it. Looking at the pictures and the messages I saved, it saddened me to think that we were once the most important person in each other's lives. I started thinking when it all changed. How it changed. How did 2 years pass by so quickly, how'd we managed to hurt each other so badly when we once promised that we would never do anything to hurt each other. Like the video I watched; Strangers again. People change, couples outgrow each other. Everyone eventually either fall out of love, or move together in the same direction. Unfortunately for us, we were moving in different directions.

We both knew that it was for the best. We both understood that though it was great while it lasted, the spark fizzled and died. He was my only love, the only person I truly ever loved. And to be honest, I am happier now with everything and everyone in my current life as compared to the me 6 months ago. I was losing myself and that was insanely scary. The feeling where you were no longer living for yourself was such an awful feeling. Its like an abyss, you just get sucked more and more into it, and eventually you forget the way out. I lost myself, and I really had no idea who I was anymore other than his girl. And that just wasn't enough. There were so many other reasons that need not be said, the only reason I typed this out was because I needed some space in my mind.

All I can do now is to wish him the best. I really want to see him happy, and I know that though I'm not perfectly fine now, i will be eventually. I know that it was the right choice, one that had to be made for both of us to be happy. And though it scares me like hell to think of how everything has changed, at least we tried.

School has officially started, kinda the reason why I've stopped blogging I guess. School has been... Well stressful is really an understatement. New friends found with the classmates, and they're really pretty cool people who've motivated me to kickass. In every new class, there will always be different groups of people. One side of the class, you will have nice and modest people, on the other side, the annoying pricks who are so bloody egotistical and annoying- mainly, the empty vessels. so much for staying outta the drama and staying neutral huh.

Anyway, everything's pretty alright, with the exception of some personal problems. Sometimes, appearances can be deceiving. Just cause someone looks happy, doesnt always mean that everything's just peachy. I'm tired of everything, and I just hope that this is really just a rough patch. Anyways, I'll post the advertorial for LustTeam, wecollection and Frogsandrabbit by this weekend! Until then, sorry for the lack of updates dearies! Love you guys, and thanks for all the nice emails and stuff!

Weekend Mayham + hair dye tips

I have red hair now! I missed my red hair so much that last Friday, outta the spur of the moment, J and I headed to Watsons to buy red hair dye. It looks really red in the pic below cause of the sunlight but it's more or less more subtle now. Maroonish color.

*For those who dont feel like heading to salons to dye your hair or might be a cheapo like me (Dont judge me) can try using the DIY hair dyes selling at like $10?

For those who are afraid that these cheapo hair dyes will damage your hair, i have a few tips for you:
1) Buy the Loreal hair dye. Its really good because it doesnt contain ammonia and the color absorbs really well.
2) ALWAYS use the conditioner they provide you, + your own conditioner (the kind that prevents damaged hair/color protection) + hair mask

These might be small tips, but it really ensures that your hair doesn't turn out dry and frizzy.

O.P.I Shatter Tutorial

Wanna know why? Because my O.P.I Shatter finally arrived! ♥

Ordered my Shatter Silver and Black awhile back and it reached today. So I decided to do up a tutorial since some of my friends were asking me how Shatter works.

FYI: O.P.I Shatter is a form of a cheap nail art that you can do at home and its so fun and suitable for all events(:

Things you need:
1) Base Coat: This is really important! Never make the mistake of applying any form of nail polish without a good base coat. Your nails will turn dirty and yellow without it.
2) Base Nail Color: Any Nail polish color will do. Its up to you to mix and match to see what colors you like with your shatter. Try to stick to O.P.I cause Shatter tends to work best with its own brand.
3) Shatter Nail Polish
*4) Top Coat: This is really dependant on yourself. If you like a matt finish, then you should skip this.

Instructions:
Step 1: Paint the base coat on your nails. Wait for it to dry.
Step 2: Paint your base nail color. I've chosen a Coral Color from O.P.I. You should paint 2 coats, 3 if your nail color is rather sheer (You shouldn't paint more than 3 layers as it tends to leave the nail polish really thick and uneven)

Love this color!

Step 3: Wait for at least 1-2 minutes after the base color dries before applying Shatter. Its up to you to put as many coats as you like, but I put only 1 coat. It doesnt really matter if you painted it unevenly cause it wont really matter when it starts to break and shatter. I chose to use the black Shatter cause I love the contrasting colors between Coral and Black^^
The final product should turn out like this:

It has a very matt effect to it

If you like the glossy finish like I do, then apply a layer of Top Coat and it'll be super shiny.

Have you guys ever had one of those nights that no matter how much you tried, you just cant seem to sleep. Well, after an extremely chaotic night, I tried to go to sleep. But I failed miserably after trying to sleep for nearly an hour, so I gave up and decided to on the lappy.
No idea why, but I'm listening to the soulful voice of Adele. I love her, it seems that I can find myself relating to all her songs.

It seems as though with the upcoming General Elections, everyone is becoming a politician.

Please bear with me and this post about the General Elections. Its a long post but this will be the only post I’ll post about the politics. Yesterday night, I had dinner with 2 of my favorite girls, Jm & Ph. Like the previous time, we began talking about the General Elections and about Politics. It struck me to do a post about my stance with the government and this whole Election.

Let me first point out that I am neither Pro PAP nor Pro Opposition.

It is true that over the years Singapore has changed in many ways. Sitting at Pizza Hut, we were discussing the various changes that came about. One of the most memorable thing I remember was that when I were younger, I used to love eating Potong Ice-cream.

It cost me 50cents back then. A few days back, I wanted to buy the same potong stick and I found out the prices are now $1.20. As we grow up over the years, things change and prices escalate. As a 20 year old Singaporean, I worry for the future. I worry that in the future, the prices for houses will continue to escalate, I worry that the competition for education will continue to rise, I worry that the mentality of Elitism will stick and that the bell curve for Singaporeans will be dragged further and further. The biggest worry I have is this: “Will I/my future family be able to survive in Singapore in future with its rising costs”.

Dont get me mistaken, I am not blaming the government for everything that’s wrong. I believe that we do have to give them credit when credit is due. The fact of the matter is that Singapore is indeed a solid country to live in. But over the years, people tend to lost faith and forget the Pros that they have done for us because of one solid factor: MPs no longer remember that they are in their position to serve their people and to think for their people’s best interests. Most of them became arrogant and began adopting the Elitism mentality.

HOWEVER, before we start screaming and yelling about PAP, I’d like to point out 2 MP’s whom I admire.

Dr Lily Neo

Dr Lily Neo is someone whom I have always admired. She to me is an MP who really thinks for the people’s best interest. Even alternate media: The Online Citizen agrees. It took her 3 years to fight for an increase in the assistance scheme to the needy.

In 2007, the amount was S$260.

In 2008, it was increased to S$290.

In 2009, it went up to S$330

In 2010, it was S$360.

In 2011, it is now S$400 – the amount which Dr Neo first asked for in 2008.

It has taken 3 years for the Government to raise Public Assistance – by a mere S$140 a month – to what Dr Neo felt the poor required

During this time, she was rebuffed and scoffed upon. The most memorable clash that happened was in 2007; between her and Vivian Balakrishnan (I don’t even bother giving him a salutation because I find no point in giving a man like this respect)

Dr Lily Neo: Minister yesterday announced that PA allowance would be increased by $30 a month, from $260 to $290. My single constituents told me that they needed to skip one meal a day to live on the $260 per month. And now, MCYS is going to give them $1 more a day. But, Sir, $1 a day will not be able to buy them one meal a day in any hawker centre.

Balakrishnan: One limiting factor must be that the sum that we give through Public Assistance cannot be so generous as to erode the work ethic.

Dr Lily Neo: This work ethic concept does not work, because this is a group of people that can never work either due to poor health, old age or disability. Should providing three meals a day not be a priority of his promise?

Balakrishnan: Entitlements will always be low, ie, the person has to ask you for help and not bang on your table for help.

Dr Lily Neo: Sir, I want to check with the Minister again on the strict criteria on the entitlement for PA recipients. May I ask him what is his definition of “subsistence living”? Am I correct to say that, out of $260 per month for PA recipients, $100 goes to rental, power supply and S&C, and leaving them with only $5 a day to live on? Am I correct to say that any basic meal in any hawker centre is already $2.50 to $3.00 per meal? Therefore, is it too much to ask for just three meals a day as an entitlement for the PA recipients?

Balakrishnan: How much do you want? Do you want three meals in a hawker centre, food court or restaurant?

In April that same year, ministers and top civil servants’ salaries were increased by 4 to 21 per cent. Honorariums for Members of Parliament were also given a hike. Dr Neo donated the increase in her MP allowance to Public Assistance recipients in her constituency. I am so very thankful that she is in the Tanjong Pagar GRC and that it is a walkover, because if we were to lose an MP like her, Singapore would have suffered a big loss.

Mr George Yeo

Before I even say anything, please watch this video. The humility in his voice really touched me after I watched this video.

Before the elections, I didn’t know much about Mr George Yeo. It was only with the whole Hooplah with the Aljunied GRC did I find out about his existence. Though I haven’t known of him long, I’ve been doing my research and I really admire him. He has been representing Aljunied GRC since 1988 and he has fulfilled every election promise that was made in 2006, including the successful construction of a community gymnasium.

How often can we meet a politician who has truly fulfilled his election promises and not just leave it as empty promises.

For goodness sake, he listens to Generation Y Singaporeans and tries his best to keep up with us. He is actively involved in Social media and he even goes to Zoukout with his wife! (Okay, irrelevant point, I just think its kinda kickass). How often can we meet a man like him in parliament?

Are we certain that the Workers Party can and will fulfill their promises to the people? I for one dare not take a risk like that, neither would I want to see a MP who really serves his people and think of their best interest out of parliament.

To quote from Xiaxue from her blog “the opposition supporters saying he should run for Presidency... Don't get taken in. Being President holds very different duties from what GY is accustomed to doing and is doing well. If you say you want a voice for the people, then think about this: Is it better to have 5 Workers' Party members merely in parliament or is it better to have a Minister representing your voice up in the cabinet?”

So Before you vote and before you give up hope and turn cynical, remember that no matter what, we have 2 MPs who really care about us and think of our best interests. That might not be a lot, that’s maybe 2 outta 85(Technically there are 87 seats, but PM Lee and MM Lee have my vote; if I can vote that is) seats that’s being contested, but that’s a start.

Sometimes when I look into the mirror, I realised that I don’t really recognise myself anymore (somehow). Sure I look the same as I did 4 years back (cept with longer hair and a chubbier face?), but in general I kinda don’t recognise myself anymore. I used to exude more confidence, I used to know what I wanted in life. The me when I was 16 would totally kick the butt of the 20 year old me. My birthday’s coming in exactly a week, and then I’ll officially turn 20. My first big 2! It got me thinking how I have exactly changed and if I’m proud of the person I am now.

When I was 16, I was more confident (I didn’t really care about what people said about me or the way I look), I was less of a cynic and I guess I was nicer and more trusting of people. But the 20 year old me gets easily affected by the way I look, struggles to pursue what I want in life and is skeptical and cynical of trusting others and is constantly on my toes. I guess in a way change is inevitable. Everyone has to go through it. But I believe that no matter how much you change, you should never change into someone that you are not proud of.

Thankfully, no matter how much my life or I have changed, I know I can count on my family and my girls to be the constant in my life.

Received some feedback about my blog lagging some coms, sorry! I've changed its template (though it looks the same), so it should be much faster now(:

Anyway, since the boy is in camp, I've found myself to be super duper free (weekdays). I used to spend all my time with him, so now that my stint at SPH has temporarily stopped for 1 month, I find myself uberly free. Helping out officially at Mom's shop from next week only, which means that I have 4 & a half days to kill this week. During which I plan to meet the girls for Mj and Sean for some shopping. Cs and I joked the other day that we are 5 day week girls, meaning we're only free on the weekdays.

Hm... I need to preoccupy myself this week. At least from next week, I'll have plenty of work to keep me busy from 11 till 8.30 everyday (Yes, unfortunately, I'm working from 11-8.30 for my mom everyday. No, my mom is not a slave driver even though it seems like it). Than after working for my mom, I'll be resuming my job at SPH for another 3 months while waiting for Uni. Damn, talk about a repetitive routine.

On a side track, I'm heading out to Korea next month and I've got my eyes on the prettiest netbook! Gotta dig up some savings, but it's so worth it!

I'm a sucka for pretty things!

I received the best valentine days presentS any girl could receive. Before bby went to camp, he surprised me at work and he gave me a 7/11 plastic bag and told me that it was a hello kitty inside. When I opened it, I saw this

Then today, when I was supposed to meet Fenglin for some htht, I went over to bby's place cause I was supposed to meet her there. So she told me to go to bby's place and wait for her, and when I went to bby's place, I went to his room and heard "I dont wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith and when i opened his room door, what I saw shook me to tears! I had the sweetest valentine's day surprise.

Bby asked fl, Jasper and his sister to plan this valentine's celebration for me. And I was so touched! This is seriously the sweetest thing anyone as ever done for me.

I remember when we were younger, my family was quite close. My siblings and I used to crawl on my parents bed every sunday night and we'll watch Super Sunday together. There would always be plenty of laughter in the room.

Fast forward 10 years, everyone's grown up, and though our family looks seemingly happy, there are many things under the surface. Because of some reasons, my family seems to be falling apart. The worst thing is, nothing can be done to stop it because everyone seems to believe strongly that their right. Everyone only started thinking abt themselves and their welfare.

I really detest going home everyday, to that big empty shell. The only one whose ever at home is the maid, and even she's leaving soon. As psycho as it sounds, the reason I have so many softtoys from J is cause at least I won't feel so lonely with them around. And yeah, I know they're just inanimate objects, but you can always find some form of comfort in self denial.

I really hope that one day, we can be like how we used to. I'm tired of holding on to memories

Have you ever loved someone so much that when he's not by your side, your whole world just seems to stop?

Anyway, bby entered army ystd and I hvent been able to stop crying. I know it's damn dumb esp since I'll only not be seeing him for 10 days. But that's the longest we've ever been apart! Plus, he has 6 months BMT, which mean 6 month of only seeing him twice a week.

Ystd, I missed his calls, so when I finally heard and picked up his call, he had to hang up alrdy! Made me cry like mad! I know hoe dumb I sound, and everyone keeps reminding me that J ain't going to war or smth. But I can't help feeling this way. I feel so lost without his texts or talking to each other before we go to bed.

Damn, I just miss that boy so much.

Today is an extrememly good day, so much so that though its way past my 'supposed' bedtime, i had to blog and share my joy! Today SPH held a flea market collaborating with the salvation army for our staff. For those who have no idea, the salvation army is like a treasure cove, with plenty of AUTHENTIC LV's, Prada's, Gucci's, Chanel's and much much more. Many rich tai tai's donate the branded things that they dont want to the Salvation Army.

Within the frst 5 minutes the flea market was open, people flocked to the bags section and bought up most of the LV's. The prices were so low that it was enough to drive a person mad! I kept looking at all the people snatching the LV bags, the bag i was eyeing on was also snapped up withnin minutes. But, I was lucky, there was a very nice lady who was a staff there who brought something to me and told me to hurry get it and that it was 100% authentic (which after various checks, asking professionals and cross referencing made me realise it was), and i bought it.

And that item is:

It was sucha damn good steal, though it required like a hour of cleaning (due to the amt of dust), but it was totally worth it! Plus, i bought myself a pair of Raybans and boyfriend a pair of Calvin Klein shades.

Hello world, since i'm home earlier today, i decided to be super spontaeneous and camwhore.

Freakishly busy day today, apart from work, had to rush to Admiralty to get my polaroid cover from the seller, luckily i had Mr skank; Sean to accompany on the way over, so it was a pretty fast trip. I loveeeee the bag, super gorgeous(:

Anyway, headed over to Bugis after that for the FrogsandRabbit photoshoot. The studio was pretty good, with a proper dressing room and all. It was so tiring changing outfits back and forth, plus it was a rush rush thing cause you had to save time. Didnt feel so self conscious modelling for this collection than the previous one. Quite excited to see how the pictures turn out. This collection is just amazing, plus they have only a few items per piece, so you girls better get it chop chop before i end up buying everything! hahaha.

I shall leave with somemore self camwhore shots. So zi lian right? I knoow! :D

BTW, boyfriend's been complaining that im turning/talking more and more like a bimbo. Am i? Gosh! Gotta tone down on my IKR's.

we've been together for a year now.It seems like just ystd when those 3 words were first said. Because of you, I felt things I've never felt before. you showed me what it was like to truly be in a committed r/s.

To be with you, I had to sacrifice stuff, I gave up on Canada, china and Australia, smth I thought I never would have, at least not for another. The moment I willingly gave those up, I realized just how in love I was with you, that I couldnt care about going overseas anymore, it's been a year since I made my choice, and I haven't regretted a single bit. Instead, I feel relieved that I took a chance on us, cause it's provably the best choice I've ever made in my life. I never thought I could feel this way about anyone before.

I could go on for days on how much I love you, how much you mean to me,and the imprints you left in my life. When you found me, I was lost, helpless even. Back then, I was only capable of putting on a facade. The others in my life back then didn't bother seeing the truth, they just believed what they wanted to. They thought I was happy and whole, but I was far from it.
Only you saw the hurt, you recognized me for who I truly am and you saved me. You saved me from myself and you never judged.

Thinking back, I realize that things could have very easily gone another way. You told me before that I was your saving grace, but what you don't know is that, the truth is, you are mine. Without you, I won't be the person I am so proud of being now. Okay, time to stop, I'm getting way too emotional writing this. So,I'll just summarize how I feel in 1 sentence:

I saw this story and it really moved me. It's about a couple who proves that love can truly transcend all.

This image is of a couple who lost touch and were separated for 54 year. they recently got married after the long 54 years separation.

This couple were in love when they were younger. He; Mr yuan Dibao was 25. A student. She; Ms Danny Li was 24, his teacher. They fell in love, but what she didn't know was that he was actually married.
*doesn't sound like your normal fairy tale right?

After some time, he confessed to her abt his marriage and she broke up with him.
"I had no other choice, we couldn't build our happiness on the misfortune of another innocent woman"- Ms Danny Li

When she was planning to leave for France, she wrote him a letter regarding her departure. He replied and they started exchanging letters. The letters stopped during the Cultural Revolution (1976-77), she wrote him when it stopped. But his address had already changed. He wrote to her of his change in address, but it never reached her. She never started a new r/s as she felt that no one could replace or match the love he had for her.

This year in feb, Mr yuan's daughter in law heard of the love story between Mr Yuan and Ms Li. Mr Yuan's wife passed away in 1994. So his daughter in law encouraged him to find Ms Li and write to her. After some tracking, he managed to contact her. And after more than 50 years, they started writing to each other again.

A month later, he invited her to Xiamen. When she reached, she surprised he with a bouquet of 55 roses and a proposal. They got married recently.

Ms Li: "wht is gone is gone; we want to be with each other for the rest of our lives. I have poor sight, and he has a problem with hearing. I'm his ears, and he is my eyes."

Though this is far from the conventional fairy tale stories, ESP when the male protagonist was previously married whn he fell in love with Ms Li. But Something about the fact that even after 50 years, they still have the love they once felt for each other over a decade ago touches me. It's heartening to know that though they're in their final chapter, they have each other.

It sounds naive but I really hope that J and I can be like that one day(:

爷爷

whn I was younger, my Sundays were spent at tanjong pager, where my 爷爷 stayed. That was when I lived in my old hse, also at tanjong pager.

I remember spending my days at
爷爷 2 storeys apartment. Being the youngest cousin, I had hardly anyone to play with. All my cousins were much much older than me. So I was always by myself. Because of that, I always spent time with my 爷爷 in his room. He would always give me money to buy treats. And he would always tell me not to tell mommy.

As I got older, we moved to my current home and so did 爷爷.
The government wanted to renovate the area 爷爷 was staying at and he had to move to a hdb at people park. I remember even though I was young, I was really unhappy. Why did 爷爷 have to move just because the government decided that he should. But 爷爷, a kind and patient man didn't mind. As long as there was a roof under his head, he didn't really care.

The Sunday visits to his place became something I would look forward to. Though his hse became smaller, the same Cosy feeling remained.

But somewhere along the years as I was growing up, I became somewhat lost. I started cutting down on the sunday visits to his place. Citing reasons like being lazy or wanting to go out with my friends. I was only pri 5 back then. Slowly, I skipped the visits as a whole.

I still remember the night he passed away. It was a Sunday. We were watching the show 'super sunday' when daddy received a call. He rushed outta the house almost immediately. Mommy didn't tell us what happened. The next morning, right before I reached school, daddy told me 爷爷 passed away. I didn't cry, I don't know why. But during morning assembly, I wailed like a baby.

I regret deeply not visiting him that particular Sunday. I had not seen him for close to 2 months. He was a man who taught me all my values. He was a man who showed me right from wrong. My
爷爷 was the one who taught me everything I needed to learn from a young age.

One of my fondest memory of him was his annual birthday dinner at this restaurant called '红星' Every year when we went there, the staff would chant '余先生' every time they saw him enter. 爷爷 was very well liked. And as a little girl, I would always look at him in awe as they chanted his name. Looking upon him as though he was a god, and in response, 爷爷 would grin and wink cheekily at me. He passed away at the age of 97, greatly loved by everyone who knew him.

It's been about 8 years since he passed on, but I'll always rmb him. Up till now, I constantly regret not visiting him that Sunday. But it comforts me somewhat when I think that 爷爷 is looking down upon his family, protecting us.

It's has been a tough week due to many reasons. The biggest controversy right now on the Internet has been bothering me.

Being in the media, you learn some things in class. What I remember most from one module-Journalistic writing-
is that moral ethics is impt for every
Journalist. A journalist must always perform certain forms of self censorship and also empathy for the bereaved and the victim.

But things that I have been seeing and reading on the newspaper shocks me to my core. What has happened to these journalists sense of humanity and compassion. They have treated this story as nothing but a piece of news that will sell. The pictures that horror are put up to sensationalize the story. They have not spared a thought at all for his loved ones.

I have been receiving qstns on whether I knew him, if J knew him, if he was close to us,etc.
To respect him, I have removed those tags
Without planning to answer those questions, all I'm gonna say is, I believe that he was a wonderfully nice and guy and I offer my deepest condolences to his loved ones.

I find some sense of happiness that 4 of the fucking dogs have been captured and I'm hoping to receive news really soon that the others would be captured. Another happy thought, though I know is vindictive is that I am ecstatic to know that the fuckers are above 18 and they will probably be charged with murder and will rot in hell. I bear no sympathy whatsoever for guys like these and they deserve fully to rot in hell with Hitler.

jus finished reading this really sweet thing written by someone dear to me. Most wont understand why I'm feeling this way, most who read it will probably think it's just an ego boost. But it's more than that. It's a reminder that the person I used to be was not as horrid or screwed up as I remember. I don't remember that much stuff from the past. I'm good at doing that. But at least this is one thing I can rmb without feeling remotely ashamed. I'm great at reminding myself how screwed up I used to be. But I'm rly thankful that i ain't like that no more(:

We headed to Toh's ORD celebration at the ktv ystd night, but dinner at kembangan first with @maskicans. the place was pretty good, spacious enough to fit all of us. Drank, sang and more. I came outta the place smelling like booze and cigs. hahah.

Than the few of us headed to Supperclub for its finale. When we headed there, it was about 4, so it was going to close, hence, no more booze. So after a while, we decided to go out and we ended up seeing a huge fight. Broken noses, accidents, blood! The police/riot police came. Total of 10 cars/trucks. We got so amused and just watched at the side. hahah.

I'm getting a lil tired by my job and it's only th 3rd week. I feel myself getting sucked into all this politics and that rly tires. I have no official political views on how our country is run, my only problems are the constant Inflation rates and the High living

Disappointment

for the past few weeks, I have been a reader of the Temasek Review. For those who don't know what that website is, it's an online forum that posts articles by netizens about the Singapore politics in general. My comment got posted as an article there and honestly, I feel disappointed.

I wonder how is it that a persons death can be ridiculed to this extend. It's times like this that political differences should be put aside even for just the tiniest second to offer condolences. You might hate her husband, her son, but that is hardly any reason to flame her after she just passed away.

Sometimes, I wonder where all the morals went. I'm not a strong supporter of her husband and son, I respect but I dobt support them. But even though I'm not a supporter, I know that as another human being, you honestly shouldn't bitch about the dead. Unless the ppl who knew her personally,and she did smth dreadful to you, than that's justifiable. Other than that, have a heart.

Sometimes I wonder if the media line is truly for me. Too much propaganda going around, esp with all the new media platforms, makes me scared sometimes.

For some damn annoying reasons, i cant seem to post my photos. Sooooo... I shall do a short summary of this week.

For the past week, haven been running mostly back and forth to funerals. It rly sucks seeing your friends cry and feeling helpless about it.
Celebrated Pin Hui's birthday on thurs and stayed over at W's Grandma's wake on friday.
Celebrated Alvan's birthday on Saturday evening- Headed to MOF for dinner with the maskicans and up to se7en for some drink. Met up with Qian there since she was the door bitch than it was off to watch Detective Dee
I just cut my fring today after some persuasion and i have bangs now! Headed to Bedok today to meet J so we could head to W's grandma's cremation. Since we were late, the bus left without us, so Jinxue came to fetch us and we got lost and took an hour getting there. Met up with Javiour than off to Bryan's place to slack after that before going for dinner. J's parents were damn funny today after his dad won a 32 inch plasma TV for a lucky draw.

On a more serious note, hope that D and W are alright and feeling much better now!

I've been working for basically 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and doing a whole crap load of stuff- all for minimum pay. But what to do, whn your an intern, your considered as cheap labour. Plus, I've Been having these insane backaches cause of the horrid chair. But at the end of the day, it's all for the experience. So im gonna continue looking at the bright side. It's all for the experience :\

Anyway, been havin a great weekend break for the past 2 days. Spent my Saturday with J and his friends at mel's place chilling and talking nonsense. Finally met up with kaylie and Vincent today. Vincent had this theory about why girls and guys cannot be platonic friends- the reason is that hotdogs must always find hotdog buns to rest snuggly in =.=
Anyway, heading over to J's now. Work continues tmr! Just hope that the rest of the 20 weeks passes by real fast! Wish me luck.

So today was the last day of school, AGAIN.
after a while, it was time to go off, so Pinhui, Jiamin and i decided to head to Pizza hut to grab some lunch before a major mahjong session at Wanyun's place.
As auntiefied as it might sound, I missed mahjong terribly! haha. managed to make a small earning and headed down to baby's place after that.

J and i are gonna leave this place and MIA for a while to somewhere only we know(:

Just reached home not long ago.
Walked the entire day with vanny, town, homeclub, her place and bugis. I bought my high waist shorts plus maxi for 23 bucks^^
After shopping at bugis, headed to baby's place and it was off to pp to meet the rest. Headed over to Rebel to celebrate Edwin's birthday.

Stepping back into Panjang was just a total Dejavu feeling again. haha. anw, had fun at Clarissa's place with bbyg Dion and Mae. Fun party with fun guests. Than it was off to parkway after that to meet Baby and the rest.

Celebrated Toh and Lester's bday yesterday!

Headed to baby's place in the afternoon. Mom gave me a huge time lecturing me about why i didnt wanna go Sydney to study and blah blah blah. got into a huge fight with her, but luckily i reached my destination in time. haha. lol.
Met up with Jiawei and Hanxue after that at the Suntec Convention hall. Baby and i got super amused by the szie of this giant cotton candy being sold there that we got tempted into buying one! haha

Anyway, had a nice weekend. Took mc on friday and headed over to baby's place. Slept the entire day and headed over to Bedok 85 to pig out with J. Everything was goooooood! haahha. than it was back to his place and back home.

Went to snow city with baby, Bro and sherlyn. We went in for 15 minutes when we felt bored and came out. Quite disappointing. my memories of the place was from when i was young, so the fact that nothing changed at snow city from the many years i was there before kinda disappointed me. Discovery centre after that. 70%of everything there was spoilt. But one thing was the silver lining. The shooting range. Baby and i kicked ass! i killed everything i saw. hahaah!

Watched Grown Ups with Jiawei and Hanxue after that. The movie was so good! i laughed till i actually teared! haha.

Saturday:
Headed over to Tung Lok Signatures at Vivo for Bro's brithday celebration. It was very very disappointing. The food looked really good, but it tasted so bad. Okay not yucky kinda i wanna spit it outta my mouth bad, but the kinda bad that you just felt like you were expecting more. Anyway, headed with baby to Kembangan after that to meet Toh and headed to a bar down at Siglap. Met Winston there and we just hung out there.

Sunday:
Met up with baby at town to get my birkenstocks. After much much much psychoing from J, i got it haha. He was soo excited about being 'birkenstock buddies' -.- hahahah. His face was damn classic when i told him if bikenstocks dont fit me, ill just prolly get my vans. haha

Anyway, headed back to his place and off to Kembangan cafe for dinner with Lester, his friend and Jun hong. Met up with Toh and we cabbed over to chinatown to meet up with Cody and Clement for Ktv. The Ktv session was seriously damn classic. hahah. Jh seriously has the ability to make everyone laugh when he does his mv's. haha.

It was rly fun, bad sight was that it only lasted till 1. So after we left, we decided to head to some pub to chill. Headed over to Boat Quay after that for some drinks than we headed to Tiong for some supper.

Baby came over in the morning to acc me to the doctors. needed some rest on account that i havent been sleepin much/well for the past few days. All the medication is getting to me. hate it. Anyway, went back to his place to rest and he sent me to paya lebar after that so i could train over to tanjong to meet cs. thanks love ♥

Anyway, met up with Cs and waited for her job thing to end and we cabbed over to meet the clique. Had Ding Tai feng at 313 and for the first time since 123456789 years, it was a full clique outing tonight! ♥
Celebrated Cs's b'day and Qr's belated.

Headed over to Hard Rock Cafe after that to chill. Its realy a very good place to hang out and just chill at. Good Dj and all, makes you feel like your kinda in a club. We went Martini crazy, and they have the best lychee martini i've ever had! Just that when the alcohol kicks in, it seriously kicks in. haha. A pity that we missed the live band though. Gonna go back real soon i think(:

Havent been up to date much with the cyber world. Been too busy with school. zzz. Havent uploaded alot of pictures! Spent my weekend with J. Watched The soccerers apprentice yesterday, quite a nice show. walked around and off to his place before kembangan for dinner with the maskicans and then prawning at Ecp.

Went to Buckaroos for filming last week, and i had a taste of their level 1 to 10 spicyness buffalo wings. Because marcus, jm and i had this distressing incident, we made this pact to ourselves that if we finished the wings that we ordered, things will be alright. AND, we ordered the level 4 wings. it was so bad that after eating it, i went to the toilet to puke. zzz :/

P.S. i hope a friend of mine knnows that i love her and i may sound harsher than i mean sometimes, but it just happens that when you're angry, everything sounds harsher, but i really dont blame her. its just that its tough to not get angry when its happened before. but im still sorry for overreacting.
